Need inspiration? Throw a dart at a map? Just need a little daydream? Here are some of my favorite destinations.

Where to

ITALY

One of the most romantic places I have ever traveled…..The FOOD, the WINE, and the history make Italy truly unforgettable!

A nighttime view of the illuminated Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) with people standing and walking in front.
Fresco painting of The Last Supper, with Jesus and his disciples sitting at a long table, in a classical art style.
Statues of historical figures and mythological figures atop an ornate building facade, with a prominent fountain with sculptures of mythological creatures in front.
The Roman Colosseum, partially obscured by leafless trees, situated in a park with some greenery and a few people sitting near the base.
Two women taking a selfie in St. Peter's Square, Vatican City, with the obelisk and classical buildings at sunset in the background.

GLACIER, YELLOWSTONE, GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARKS

These three parks are heaven on earth! You can see the beauty hiking or just driving through them. Pictures will never do them justice. Jackson Hole, WY is a quaint town and exceptional food.

Sunlight illuminates mountain peaks over a green valley under a partly cloudy sky.
A mountain reflected in a calm lake with a cloudy sky overhead.
Geyser erupting in hot spring, releasing steam and water into the air, with mineral deposits around the bubbling water in a natural landscape.

ACADIA NATIONAL PARK

Raw beauty along the coast of Maine! We rented ebikes and rode the carriage roads in the park (best way to see it) and ate the most delicious food!

CARIBBEAN, BAHAMAS, AND CABO

Relaxation! We have stayed at numerous all-inclusive properties from Punta Cana, Montego Bay, Cancun, Cozumel, and Cabo San Lucas. Eat, sleep, drink, eat, relax, repeat!

MOROCCO

I visited Fez, Merrakech, and the desert to glamp and ride camels at sunset! The history, customs, and hospitality were top notch. Fez was definitely the favorite!

A traditional Moroccan tanner's courtyard with numerous dyeing vats filled with colorful liquids for leather tanning, adjacent to a yellow building with cloth and laundry hanging to dry.
A coastal city with white buildings and a castle-like tower, boats in the water, and people on the dock.
A camel resting on the ground, covered with a red and orange blanket, in a desert area with palm trees and modern buildings in the background.

SCOTLAND

Scotland was special because it was Tom’s first time across the “pond”. I loved seeing it through his eyes. Every turn of the head was beautiful. We even managed renting a car and not wrecking it (was only honked at once). Definitely put Scotland at the top of the list to travel!

View of a hillside with various traditional houses and apartment buildings in Edinburgh, Scotland, with dark gray clouds overhead, partially framed by green foliage in the foreground.
A couple standing close together near a small waterfall in a lush, green, mountainous landscape, with purple flowers and rocks around them, under a cloudy sky.
A castle on a hilltop surrounded by buildings, trees, and a cloudy sky in the background.

ARCHES, CANYONLAND, AND ZION NATIONAL PARKS

This was a TRIP! We flew into Salt Lake City, rented a car, drove over 2800 miles, hiked 40 plus miles, and would do it again the first chance we get! The ruggedness of Utah is its beauty! Have no fear though you don’t have to hike it to see the vast majority of it!
